Forma pura che segue la funzione, in una costante ricerca di armonia ed equilibrio: ecco,
in sintesi, le opere di Glen Rossi. Il designer elvetico declina in modo originale e operando su
molteplici fronti espressivi un’arte del progettare che vede al centro il concetto di “poesia”: cioè,
seguendo l’etimo, “saper fare”, dar vita, trovare senso scolpendo il presente ma intravvedendo,
in prospettiva, una precisa idea di futuro. Tutto ciò in un costante dialogo con materiali di diversa
origine: vetro, metalli, pietre, pellami. Ogni opera diventa così una storia preziosa: un catalizzatore
di energie chiamate a convivere in un costante pot-pourri di abbinamenti. E non è un caso si renda omaggio alla tradizione orologiera elvetica, rivisitandone i canoni in Extremity Clocks, collezione che vuole essere uno scatto fotografico sull’unicità di un istante. Le cifre stilistiche di Glen diventano panorama minuziosamente coordinato con i complementi di Extremity Line, per approdare al fashion di Extremity Style con virtuosistiche variazioni su temi classici dell’eterno femminino, dallo stivale alla borsetta. À l’âge de quinze ans, après avoir appris la batterie avec son père dans l’orchestre Aimé Barelli du casino Monaco Sporting Club, il a commencé à jouer dans les salons de “The Royal Hotel” à Nice, où il a produit Dancing Tea. C’est là qu’il est présenté aux frères Roboly, avec lesquels participe, suite à leur demande, à une répétition du groupe de rock français Les Chats Sauvages, où il devient
batteur en 1962, année qui correspond au début de sa logue
carrière. In 2012 he recorded his debut album Sound of My Colours with Lars Jansson and Paul Svanberg in Sweden, in 2015 he published his double album Eeg-Fonnesbaek with the singer Sinne Eeg and in 2018, he released the album Blue Waltz, a duo with Enrico Pieranunzi.
